any readers are computer geeks/experts I’d appreciate any help.
Up
to yesterday I had over 3500 words written for Chapter nine (about 50%
completed) and now I discover the file has been corrupted and I can’t open it.
It’s gone.
Has
anyone any ideas?
I’ve
put dozens of hours into this and now I’m unable to access it.
I’ve
had a really shit week a good friend died, I couldn’t attend his funeral as I
was admitted to hospital with a serious health issue – which thankfully seems
to have been contained and hopefully I’m on the road to recovery. So this
finishes off a really crap week.
The
response to the last chapter was wonderful (shit I sound like Trump) and I’ve
very grateful for all the support which is why I want to get this chapter
posted asap.
Now
unless I can recover the file I’ll have to start over
As
I’ve mentioned several times before writing is difficult for me as I tend to
pore over every word, sentence and paragraph, second guessing and critiquing
myself all the time. I have a lot of it in my head but getting it down like the
original will be difficult not to mention extremely time consuming and
obviously will take several weeks to post.
Yes!
not a good week but compared to the very ill people I’ve seen in hospital it is
absolutely of no consequence. They would love to have my troubles.
So
if anyone can help please let me know.
