It’s been a while since I posted an image with a late Victorian/Edwardian theme and as it’s a era I’m very fond of, I thought it about time to do so. This is an old image from years back that I have re-worked, the new caption is very lengthy and so does not appear in the usual format.
The image at the top of the page is also re-purposed and again the caption is very lengthy – sometimes I lose the run of myself- and like most of these images probably deserves its own story.
I’ll post another image in the next week or so.
As ever, my thanks to Jennifer who inserted the captions in a more readable format and also reformatted the layout, it makes a huge difference.
Anyone reading the comments may be aware that Julia Domna not only shares this Victorian interest but also acts on it and best of all participates in Victorian themed weekends. Her description (in the comments) of the new gown she is having made will make you very envious.
I’m also trying to work on the next part of Maid for The Role but as it’s been some time since I wrote the last chapter it may take a while to get back into the rhythm of the story, so that could take several weeks.
